Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous state which united with T anganyika in 1964 to form the United Republic of T anzania. It is an Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, 25–50 kilometres off the coast of the mainland. It’s an all year round resort place due to it’s location near equator. April - June is a monsoon season (15 minutes per day). April - October is a golden season to visit Zanzibar.
