Outside much of the garden is paved, and hosts a fountain and a wide array of Mediterranean plants and palm trees. The pool is 8 x 5 m? and there is a pool house for summer relaxing. Beyond this are further garden areas and a petanque playing area. The villa and its garden enjoy all day sun. This area of St Jeannet is known as ?la petite Afrique? for its mild microclimate.

In addition, there is enough private parking for five cars, and a 50m? lower-ground floor atelier/cellar.

St Jeannet is a romantic medieval village nestled under the distinctive Baou mountain ? a famous landmark on the French Riviera. The village has several restaurants and shops, a bar tabac, a bakery, two hairdressers and a post office. In the area below the village known as Le Peyron, there is a supermarket, a newsagent?s, two bakeries, a speciality cheese shop, a wine merchant, two banks, a pharmacy, a bar tabac and several restaurants.

This area is a popular choice for walkers, with numerous trails including to the top of the Baou itself, from where there are spectacular views. Many of the trails start on the lane in which the villa is located. The Baou de St Jeannet is also a well-known venue for rock-climbers, and caters for all levels.

For ski lovers, there are several ski stations within 1 ½ hour?s drive.
