The house has double glazed windows and doors. The detached cottage is situated across the courtyard from the main house and has a kitchen, bedroom and shower room.

GARDEN: There is a spacious cobbled courtyard with a covered barn area. The property has 1.5 acres of mature gardens and vines. There are numerous fruit trees including oranges, lemons, chestnuts, walnuts, pear and apples. There is an infinity swimming pool (10m by 4.5m) with air-source pool heater and a patio area under the vines. In the garden there is an outbuilding that could be converted.

The Ancora river is less than 5 minutes walk, with a 'secret swimming spot' for the locals in the summer providing crystal clear waters which is great for swimming.

Local area and getting there: The nearest beaches are less than five minute drive away in Vila Praia de Ancora, where a wide range of shops, restaurants, and a new daily fresh fish market can also be found. It is a lovely area with amazing beaches, not yet spoilt by tourism and typically Portuguese.

The property has excellent potential for holiday letting, with weekly rentals of up to 3000 euros per week.
