The fort forms an isosceles triangular structure viewed from the air, with two of the sides significantly longer than the third.
Balatonlelle station is on the mainline between Budapest and Nagykanizsa. It is also situated on the main railway line to Zagreb, making it easily connected to a variety of international destinations.
