The house is located in the small mountain village of Bekölce about 23km north of Eger city.

The building received a completely new roof structure 5-6 years ago (new rafters, slats, tile shell)! A camera system was also installed on the house.

The huge plot of 4,067 square meters is arranged, and there is an area suitable for cultivation/farming in the garden. The first yard is completely fenced (2,000 m2), the garden approx. to three quarters. The large area should not be an obstacle to a possible sale, because if the new owner feels unmanageable, he will find local help for maintenance (mowing, cleaning), and it may be possible to sell the rear part of the property separately in the future.

Bekölce settlement has an extremely favorable geographical location, as it is located in a beautiful environment, 6 km from Bélapátfalva, 15 km from Szilvásvárad, 25 km from Eger, Egerszalók, Bükkszék. Visit the narrow alleyways in the inner part of Eger near the castle to find many cafes and traditional local shops. Famous spas of Eger and Egerszalók.

Budapest is about 2 hours from the property.

Beside its historic sights and its thermal baths, Eger is famous for its wines. It produces both red and white wines of high quality. The famous and traditional varieties of the region are Egri Leányka, Egerszóláti Olaszrizling, Debr?i Hárslevel? (whites), and Egri Bikavér (a red). More recently, Chardonnay and Pinot noir wines have appeared. The region's wines are said to bear a resemblance to those of Burgundy.

The Bükk national park and the protected area of Lázberci are all close by as is the skiing resort of bankut.
