The garden has also another side access to a car traffic restricted road that connects us directly to the Oleftal dam and its lake, which is less than 500m away. A 14 Km road borders the lake with nice views, perfect for fitness and leisure with different hiking trails branching off it, some of which join regional hiking and cycling trails. This property is the closest one to the lake.
It is also less than 500m to a big Aldi store and to the centre of the village with other amenities.
Behind the plot there is a beautiful strip of pine forest after which begins the fenced plot of the Wildfreigehege where they also have a Bird of Prey Station whose big tamed eagles we see flying above us on their free flight days.
We have two direct neighbours and one of them being a Dutch couple.
The possibilities of use could be many and varied depending on yourself. For example, reopening the restaurant and overnight accommodation, the town hall and the tourist board would be very happy with this because it was a very popular business and is much needed in Hellenthal. Alternatively, renting for private or business celebrations, or just using it all for yourselves as we did for the last 20 years.
