Akapnou is a lovingly maintained, secluded village; rich in history and surrounded by nature.

The upper floor has high ceilings with eucalyptus beams, a spacious kitchen, a living room complete with a wood burning stove, and a dining room with a screened off area suitable for use as a study. The property features restored traditional double doors, original stone floors, a cervanza, and ironwork crafted to an authentic Cypriot design.

The living room leads out onto the vine covered veranda which has spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and also over the heart of the village; centred around the church of Agios Georgios, and a local kaffineo. An outdoor wrought iron staircase leads down from the veranda to the central courtyard. The second "studio" property can also be accessed from the ground level courtyard, and was originally built as a village kaffineo. With plenty of storage, it comprises of an open plan living/sleeping area and also has its own kitchen and bathroom. A separate entrance from the street means it can be used as a detached rental property or a staff residence.
