This is a very old farmhouse. It has 4 bedrooms with room for one or two more in the enormous loft. it had a new roof ten years ago which is tiled. the electrics have been completely replaced and the water system has been renewed. it has space and services in the attic for a bathroom, the second bathroom is on the first floor with a toilet washroom on the ground floor. there is a large kitchen as you enter the house with a second kitchen come utility room at the rear. the sitting room is adjacent to the kitchen. wooden stairs lead up to four bedrooms with more stairs from the landing to the attic. there is an undercroft which you can drive a vehicle to the back garden. there is a vaulted cellar at the rear of the property. in the garden is an old barn and a small house, sadly this was struck by lightning many years ago. within the garden is a well that is always full. a shed and an oil tank (not currently used).
There are two log burners, one in the kitchen and one in the living room, and the bedrooms and bathrooms have DeLonghi electric radiators. water is heated via a balloon one of the 200lts and one of 50lts.
All the windows are double-glazed units that went in 6 years ago, and the front window all have shutters.
The kitchen is hand-made oak with granite worktops. there is an additional unit for a washing machine and tumble dryer which is 2m in length.
The bulk of the storage in the property is there to finish. the floor of the lounge has been completed as it sits over the cellar it now has 150mm of insulation and a chipboard floor on top.
all the ground floor rooms have been water sealed with concrete.
