Villa Goutry was born from the dream of Count Giulio Massimiliano Goutry, a Piedmontese nobleman, who had this splendid building built in 1917 and chose it as his country residence. A rare example of neoclassical architecture in the area, Villa Goutry is a rectangular building with an elegant and essential shape, with large bright interior spaces.

Location
Villa Goutry stands on a small promontory south of Lake Trasimeno within the Regional Park, a protected area of ''very high naturalistic, historical and landscape interest. It is located a short distance from the shores of the lake and is close to all services. Perugia airport is about 30 minutes away by car.

Description
An avenue of cypress trees will lead you to the entrance of the park where you will be welcomed by a charming stone house, once used as a guesthouse; from here, at the end of an avenue of lime trees, Villa Goutry will appear to you in all its white splendor, surrounded by an Italian garden. A double flight of stairs will lead you to the entrance of the villa, where a large atrium and the majestic marble staircase will appear to you in all their beauty, like in a fairy tale. From the large entrance you can access the rooms on the ground floor where in the left wing you will find a large dining room, a kitchen with dining area and a service bathroom; on the right the living room, the study, a bedroom and a bathroom. Finally, in the basement of the villa, the old cellars, currently used as a tavern. The park that embraces the property is a real botanical garden where the centenary oaks, centuries-old holm oaks and maritime pines dominate. In the shade of these majestic trees, through paths and walkways, you will be able to reach the most pleasant areas of the garden, stopping on the stone seats that you will occasionally find on your way and perhaps reaching the old riding school, a flat clearing set in the woods. Overall, the land measures approximately 9 hectares and is mainly made up of tall forest, an olive grove with approximately 180 plants and arable land that borders the banks of the lake.

Villa Goutry still retains all its original charm intact, having not undergone invasive restoration interventions. The structure is in an excellent state of conservation and the large pavement which also serves as a roof has been renovated and waterproofed. The floors are in marble chips, with different colors and decorations for each room. The recommended interventions are those aimed at obtaining better energy efficiency.

Utilities
The property is connected to electricity. The heating system consists of an LPG gas boiler and cast iron radiant elements. The water supply is guaranteed by connection to the municipal aqueduct and the presence of a well.
