This typical Spanish house is in the heart of a village in the beautiful Vall de Gallinera, being made up of eight villages. It is in an area of outstanding beauty, a cherry growing valley with an abundance of wildlife and fauna, a village retreat in a tranquil setting.
The house has been restored over several years, with some of the original features being re-injected or uncovered. It has a nice airy feel to it, with thick walls helping to keep it cool in the summer. The main living space is a large open plan area big enough for a lounge area, seating space and dining, with a woodburner. The house has three good sized bedrooms, two double and one single off of which is an upstairs storage room. The house has one bathroom, which consists of toilet, sink, shower.
The kitchen is equipped with gas hob and oven, off which is another storage room with swing doors.
From the landing there is a staircase leading up to the roof terrace which is a large space covering the whole of the house (around 90 square meters). There is a water supply and sink up on the terrace. The views of the surrounding mountains and valley are beautiful, with views from the terrace all the way around.

There is a lovely pool in the village (walkable down a hill from the house), this is open in the summer months and has a bar/restaurant and is in a beautiful setting. There are several villages nearby with good, very reasonably priced restaurants. The beach is around 25 mins drive in the car, mainly on windy rural roads, so it?s a nice drive. There are lots of places to walk and if you are really up for a big hike, there is the Forada, which is right next to this village, a highish mountain, walkable if it?s not too hot, with some great views. Parking is available at the front of the village and in the village square.

The house is pretty much mid way between both Alicante and Valencia airport, giving you extra choice on air travel.
