Sunrise can be enjoyed with breakfast in the garden, accompanied by the sound of many different birds and their calling tunes. Our own preference is watching the stunning sunset in the evenings whilst on the porch over dinner. So peaceful and picturesque.

For walkers, every day you will pass ? and perhaps mingle with ? local villagers doing the same, through delightful undulating hills, including castle ruins dating back hundreds of years, and a beautiful local church.

We are surrounded by a plethora of the most charming villages. The event-filled town of Marmande is just 10 minutes away. Bergerac 50 minutes away and Bordeaux 75 minutes away.

Either as a permanent home or a holiday home, as it was prior to our arrival for a retired couple who had visited every spring and summer for almost 30 years. The house was fully rebuilt in 2000 and was kept in pristine condition.
