Welcome to this rustic holiday home with high-performance solar system and smart solutions!
Location is about 200 kms north of Stockholm.
This house is located just outside Storvik, with a view of Lake Fäbodsjön.There is also an associated guest cottage and storage buildings included in the property.
The main building is traditionally built in six-inch timber and run with tarred flax. The house was completed in 2019 and has since been used year-around.
A newly installed solar cell system with a total of 11,375 Watts was completed in the spring of 2023.
Solar panels, fireplace and air heat pump are available in both houses,which gives reasonable operating costs.
At the entrance to the log house, there is a cozy veranda where you may hang out, look out at the lake, have a little siesta,or just be.
Once inside, you meet a smaller hall with space for clothes and shoes. In the "Storstuga" ("Big Room") there is space for both sleeping and social hangout.
An efficient fireplace provides both warmth and a cozy factor. In addition,an air heat pump is installed.
Solid, chipped pine floors, as well as high ceiling, provide space and atmosphere.
A perfect place to unwind in both summer and winter.
In the small but well-equipped kitchen there is another fireplace, gas stove, cooker fan, fridge, microwave and a washing machine.Benches and furnishings in oak.
Bar opening to the main cabin for easy logistics and comfort.
Above the kitchen is a sleeping loft with space for a double bed.
The bathroom has a curved glass shower and a one-of-a kind washbasin.A functional bathroom with fine details.
Guesthouse/House #2:
Towards the forest there is another house of 35 m2 for guests or rentout.This house had a big upgrade in 2023.
Here is a family room with oak parquet, dining area, wood stove and air heat pump.
Here is also a small kitchen with a small cooking stove, cooker fan, fridge, sink, microwave and storage options.
In addition,there is a TV-corner with sofa/bed and laminate floor.
Toilet and bathroom with plastic floor,wash basin and fully tiled shower.
Cold storage and a woodshed are located nearby.
Others:
Located between the houses, there is a warm/insulated storage building with electricity and lighting.
Tasty water from a drilled well, which is shared with the neighbour.
The infiltration is also shared with the neighbour.
Drain to own 3-chamber well.
Internet is shared with the neighbour through a common 4G mast with transceivers.Capacity covers streaming and daily activities.Optic fibre is located near the property and can be attached according to separate agreement with provider.
Most furnishing is included in the sales price.
