This property is in a lively hamlet outside of Chassenon as you arrive it is totally hidden, it is like an oasis which you enter through a doorway. This house is built in the beginning of the 19th century and is full of character and very light. You enter through the door and walk on to a covered tiled terrace as you walk around there is a double pillared stairs to the front door. From the entrance is a stairs which leads to a landing and two large bedrooms and loft space which could be converted into more bedrooms. There is a large fitted country kitchen with a old fireplace which is covered over by a cupboard, which could be openned. As you go down some stairs there is a large split level dinning room/sittting room with insert fire and vaulted ceiling and a wood stairs to a mezzaine which is used as a office and a large bedroom. Off the dinningroom is a barn with entrance out to the road and could be converted to more living space. There is also a large cellar with fireplace which the owner uses as a workshop. The garden has many eating areas, lawn with fruit trees/large trees and hedging. This house is totally private. The house has part electric heating and wood burners, well and is on main drains. An oasis in the lively hamlet. Only 5kms from Chabanais, 13 kms from St Junien and only 40 kms from Limoges airport.
